Under the background of economic globalization and the internationalization of education, Sino-foreign cooperative education has become an important measure to introduce foreign high-quality higher education resources, improve the quality of education, and promote the reform of domestic higher education. Many colleges and universities explore Chinese-foreign cooperative education through various channels and forms. The school-running forms include Chinese-foreign cooperative education projects, legal person establishment and establishment of Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutions by unincorporated people. As of January 2018, there were 2,626 Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions and projects in the country, which formed a certain scale.

 Sino-foreign cooperative education is an integral part of China's education industry. It has become an important measure to introduce overseas quality education resources, improve the quality of education and teaching, and promote education reform and innovation. As a core link of Sino-foreign cooperation in running a foreign language, foreign language teaching is of great significance in promoting the integration of international subject teaching and cultivating high-quality talents with international vision. At the same time, it challenges the construction of bilingual teachers and the correct assessment of students' foreign language proficiency.

 Entrusted by the Ministry of Education, the China Education International Exchange Association undertakes part of the preliminary work of the Sino-foreign cooperative education license. In order to further strengthen the construction of Sino-foreign cooperative education platform, promote the exchange of education and teaching experience between Chinese-foreign cooperative education institutions and projects, and gather consensus on the development of disciplines. After research, it is planned to entrust Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University to hold a conference on foreign language teaching innovation practice in Sino-foreign cooperation. The Chinese-foreign cooperative school theory research experts and school practitioners share experiences and in-depth discussions.

 

Participate in the meeting, you will gain:

• Understand the needs and challenges of Sino-foreign cooperation in foreign language teaching in the new situation;

• Hear industry experts' practical experience in teaching foreign languages (bilingual) in Sino-foreign cooperation;

• Communicate and share with elite teachers in bilingual teaching;
