During the Silk Fair, Mr. Sinoya mwale, the Mayor of Chipata City, Zambia, , with his party member Stan Mwanakayaya, director of the Urban Planning Bureau and Mwakuta jere, senator, visited our institute on the morning of May 14.

After systematically inspecting the Collge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering the College of Electrical Engineering, the College of Traction Power and the College of International Transportation, our principle Tian Heping, Vice Principle Zhao Liujie and the directors of relevant departments conducted friendly exchanges with Zambian guests. Tian Heping expressed his sincere welcome to the guests of Zambia and introduced the basic situation of the school, especially the international exchanges and cooperation. Zhao Liujie said that our college is willing to have more partners in China-Africa education cooperation, is willing to provide appropriate amount of study for Africa students, provide ample scholarships and tuition fee reduction policies, and is willing to cooperate in the field of railway technology localization talent training. Mayor Sinoya mwale said that the visit was fruitful and the follow-up would promote mutual exchange and cooperation with sincerity.

       Shi Limin, secretary of the party committee of our college, met with Zambian guests before the inspecting.
